2005 Dodge Ram 2500 44 Cummins Diesel. Quad Cab ? SLT Upgrades! 299227 on the odo / This truck has been run and worked hard but has always been well maintained. Showing just under 300K on the clock the truck starts and runs WELL with no bad sounds smoke or other engine issues. However since this is a dodge truck you know we are about to tell you about the transmission. The one in the truck now is trans number 5 for this truck and has by far lasted the longest in the truck for about 100K it had numerous upgrades when it went in the truck upgraded torque converter single disc upgraded frictions solenoids aftermarket flex plate too. Fluid changed regularly. It started shifting ?odd? recently so the trans temp sensor/governor transducer were replaced and that helped but its still not right. Expect to need to go through the trans! Since the truck has been sitting the power steering is a little funky until you drive it a few miles as well. The body is pretty straight with a few minor dents/dings. The paint looks good from about 20 feet away but up close you can see spots in the clear coat. Interior is damn decent for its age and miles tho. Great truck for work or even better for play.
