SUMMARY:Drift Nirvana Drifters of December
DESCRIPTION:The final event of the season is a special one. For this event\, the best Summit tracks are open for drifting: Summit Main\, Shenandoah\, and Washington! Three tracks divided into six sections\, all open for drifting simultaneously. This is Drifters of December! \nDrivers with ALL safety equipment (cage\, firesuit\, bucket seat\, harness) can tandem\, and trains are allowed. Solo runs are open as well. Spectators are welcome to come and watch. All spectators will pay $10 at the gate to enter. \nThere is no skidpad available at this event. It is full track only. Participants will pay $170 to preregister online\, or $200 to register on-site. Preregistration is completed using the link below and closes December 5\, 2019. \nSome important points to note: \n1. All cars must be registered and teched by 9AM\, and all drivers must be in the driver’s meeting at 9AM.\n2. Full body work is required. This includes hood\, fenders\, and glass (front and rear).\n3. Your helmet must be up-to-date and in good condition.\n4. This event will be strictly on the SKID PADS and help you dial in your throttle control\, weight transfers\, and basic car control skills! \n1 on 1 instruction will have one of our Advanced Instructors sitting side by side with you\, coaching you through each phase of learning. A classroom session will also be a new addition to this event\, focusing on teaching you the fundamentals of what you need to know starting off\, such as; tire pressures\, how to choose the right tire\, suspension setup\, throttle control\, how to initiate drift with various techniques\, Q&A and much more! \nTHIS is the go-to event for learning to DRIFT and if you are new to the sport\, we strongly recommend starting off with a SKID PASS SESSIONS event! SUMMARY:Drift Nirvana Beginner's Special: Drift 101
DESCRIPTION:This event is held on one track only\, the Washington Circuit. The Washington circuit is a large open course with no elevation changes\, no walls\, and no barriers. It is the safest place to start drifting. Drivers will pay $90 to drive the day\, but only 50 drivers will be allowed to attend. \nThis event is focused on driver training and development. We have instructors available for all drivers\, and will go over drift technique and basic car setup in the morning meeting. Drift instructors can show you how to navigate the course\, learn drift techniques\, and give you ride-alongs in their personal drift cars to help you learn. \nWe are using Motorsports Reg for registration at this event\, which means that you will NOT be charged until you show up at the event. You may see an $90 hold on your card\, but the charge will not go through until you check in at the event. \nSchedule for the day:\nGates open at 7AM\nTech and registration will start around 7:30 and finish at 9AM\nDriver’s meeting will be held at 9AM and all drivers must attend\nTrack is hot immediately after driver’s meeting\nLunch break from 12PM-1PM\nTrack is cold at 5PM \nALL DRIVERS must be registered\, teched\, and in the 9AM driver’s meeting in order to participate. \nALL SPECTATORS will pay $10.00 per person (unless you have prepaid this fee online) for general admittance ticket. \nPre-Registration – enter your payment information on Motorsports Reg. DESCRIPTION:Drift Nirvana presents Trilogy of Drift\, a unique event with access to THREE tracks at the Summit Point Motorsports Park! For $170\, drivers have access to:  \nShenandoah – Three short courses with elevation changes\, a replica of Nurburgring’s Karussel turn\, and Big Bend\, a high-speed sweeper right next to the paddock (great for pictures!)\nWashington – Large open track with two mirrored courses\nJefferson – Long course with optional extension\, very fast and technical \nThese courses offer a variety of challenges for new\, intermediate and experienced drivers.
