Old School Hot Rodders Spring Cruise In! Sunday May 19th 10am – 4pm at 19621 Namozine Road Sutherland VA 23885. If you missed our fall event now’s your chance to join in the fun you missed. This event is geared toward folks who enjoyed the “golden age” of the car scene: 1950’s – early 70’s. Come see old friends and make new ones with our main goal being to enjoy our cars, share stories from days past and photos from the “good old days” of hot rodding, street racing and drag racing. Cars, trucks, rat rods, project cars and motorcycles 1972 and earlier are more than welcome and you are also welcome to set up a table or two of parts if you wish or bring a car for sale. Your classic doesn’t run or a dormant project? Bring it on a trailer – we want to see it anyway. We will be preparing BBQ and baked beans that we can all enjoy so please bring a side dish or dessert you can share with all (please let me know what you are bringing), also bring your beverage of choice (adult or otherwise) and a lawn chair. If you have a friend or two you feel would fit in with this “old school” group please feel free to invite them but please let me know how many you have confirmed coming so we will have a head count and remember vehicles must be 1972 or earlier. This event is 100% free but we will graciously accept donations to help defer our expenses.
